2026 production edition

The 2026 boats add four flight control modes, a mast rotation sensor array, redesigned cockpit electronics, and the first FlyteWare IFOS release.

Redesigned Flyte cockpit electronics

Sensors and autopilot

Four flight control modes cover manual rake through fully automatic lift, pitch, and balance control by course.

  • Manual rake control
  • Automatic rake control by course
  • Automatic lift control by course and speed
  • Fully automatic lift, pitch and balance control by course
  • Mast rotation sensor array for angle and course detection. Optimizes drag and lift at each point of sail

FlyteWare IFOS

The first release of the intelligent foiling operating system runs telemetry and active control for up to 31 actuators and hundreds of sensors. It works on Flyte and can be adapted to other boats.

  • Real-time lift calculation and tuned lift/drag simulation
  • Dual-role control. Helm and crew have different roles without conflicting commands
  • Custom cockpit screen layouts
  • Custom sailing profiles that can be created, tuned, and shared
  • Additional sensors such as sheet load cells
  • Improved battery charging management

Electronics and cockpit

Redesigned cockpit and remote controls for the 2026 boats.

  • Cockpit electronics in final design. No visible screws
  • Slimmer remote controls with improved ergonomics
  • Tactile embossed buttons for use from trapeze without looking
  • Wireless remote charging and battery reporting on every use
  • 40 to 60 W USB-C charging port
Flyte full-carbon hull

Hardware and sails

Structural and rigging refinements for the production boats.

  • Rudder locks for extreme angles and high lift or pull-down forces in upwind foiling
  • Radar mount moved 1 m forward
  • Flatter gennaker shape to match Flyte's speed
  • Improved deck sweeping with a tighter sail closure at the bottom
  • Improved snuffer and optimized jib cunningham
